Blairgowrie is a bustling small town with a selection of good, independent shops, cafes and restaurants.


There are a range of outdoor activities on offer -


Golf at the Rosemount Championship Course at the Blairgowrie Golf Club and over 60 courses within an Hours drive.


Fishing in the rivers Ericht, Isla or Tay.


Walking - Blairgowrie Path Network and, starting and finishing in Blairgowrie, The  CATERAN TRAIL (now with Geo Tour), a 64 mile circular route through beautiful Perthshire and the Angus Glens. There is also an annual Walking Festival in September.


The Braemar Highland Games are held on the first Saturday in September and Blairgowrie holds Braemar Night festivities and fireworks in the Wellmeadow. The following day the Blairgowrie Highland Games are held.


We also have an excellent Tourist Information Centre, catering to all your needs, in the Wellmeadow.
